lol Thanks Liz I hope you enjoy using the action. The action has saved me loads of time over the past years, I'm glad I created it when I did.

Since saving them can be a big pain, I've made a coupon in case anyone is interested, you can grab my Quick Alpha Saver. Maybe it is of use to someone. The coupon will give you 60% off.

Coupon: MD59130 (case sensetive)

You can use it to quickly create and save you alpha.
You just have to make sure that you use a commercial use okay font and that you have arranged every letter in their box, saving is just a push of a button.

It has only been tested in CS2, CS3, PS7 and PSE6 though.
Too late: One of my designers who I am a CT for told me about an action to make it easier on me, thanks anyways.

Oh, I LOVE Tan's alpha action! I scooped it up a few weeks back when it was marked down and it works beautifully! Here's to making life easier, woohoo!

Cyndi - an alpha is pretty easy to do once you decide on the font you'd like to use... I think that is the hardest part, settling on a font. Once you do that, you can play with clipping papers to the letters, adding styles, outlines, embellishments, etc... most people don't like doing alpha's because it is way time consuming and boring to save each letter individually, but, if you have an action, it makes Alpha's a breeze!

I've fiddled and redone this all I'm going to -- I'm happy with its look of silver lace now.

I love alphas! I've been using a script (for PS) for a couple of years now, and it's an absolute winner for me! I have a few of my own templates that I've created using my favorite CU fonts, so I just have to stylize how I want, run the script, and I'm done!

Anyway, here's my Vintage Wedding Alpha...
