I agree with Tracy and Kim - usually there's not a big difference between the off-gamut colors and their replacement, but you might run into one that's a lot different ....

If you want to be sure your work is not out of gamut you should check twice:

1. your palette colors to avoid nasty surprises (there are a few colors - I remember a vivid blue - that do not have close replacement colors)

2. your finished papers and elements (I love working with bright colors and even though my palettes are always fine gamut-wise, I often find things to correct after applying shadows, glows or blend modes)

Tracy, that's awesome! Yep, Diane is definitely a keeper! That's pretty much what I did at home and I didn't find much difference either, there was no loss of texture/detail on the out-of-gamut printing and, IMHO, I preferred the slightly brighter/deeper colors of the out-of-gamut colors

Min, those are great tips! I always forget to check my stuff after I've made them!

I know, isn't that the coolest? I haven't mastered it just yet, of course you have to actually PRACTICE to master something.... lol
