WOW! That gallery is filled with incredible mini kits! I have finally finished mine just in time!

Thankyou so much for a great challenge - I've really enjoyed putting this little kit together!

I don't know if i'll have a finished kit or not but I don't know how people upload everything so that all elements and papers show. Is it a jpeg of the whole kit? and then the zipped file?

I am just seeing this now. I have less then 9 hours if I want to enter! Wowsers!! I think I will give it a try. Kids aren't back into school yet but hopefully some friends will come over to play and I can create!

It is a zip file. A jpeg would flatten it and no one would be able to see, or use, each individual element and paper.

so many beautiful kits and mine still half made ... silly holiday weekend.
I have first drafts of the papers and most of the elements ... I hope I can finish by tonight.

i've uploaded..and honestly feeling a bit defeated. lol! i just don't have the time or energy to redo the kit. elements are my Achilles Heel. I'm glad i don't have to vote this.

I may have missed it, but how many are moving on to the next round? are you halving it every time?or is there a set number?

I understand that I need a zip file - but the picture link that we see in the gallery - is that a jpeg of all the papers and elements?

Yes! I'm sorry, I misunderstood. The picture in the gallery is a jpeg. It is all the papers & elements. Please size it 600X600px @ 72dpi.

The link to your downloadable zip file goes in your description.

Round 1 kit will be due September 5, 2011 by 24:00 EST.
Round 1 results will be posted September 8, 2011 by 6:00 am EST.

i reuploaded my zip to 4shared because i checked my papers better this afternoon and fixed them up. I was so tired at 4 am to do them this morning..heehee..just wanted to let whoever know...xoxo

Carmen got most of these... but the list for how many are going on next round will go tomorrow. Along with the next rounds as well. Until the first round ends, I do not know how many contestants we have. That changes the numbers.

I had to redo my tou file I added it as an extra file ... should I replace it in the kit too?

Hi! I don't know if you got an answer yet and since time is growing short....

Yes, you create a jpeg that is 600x600 pixels at 72 dpi. Make sure you have all your papers and elements showing so you don't get disqualified. (This is the kit preview.) You can upload that like you would a layout.

For the zip file, you need to upload that to a file sharing site like 4shared.com, box.net, or megaupload.com and then post the link in the description box when you upload the kit preview that you created.
