I'm a bit rusty having just come back from 2+ months vacation with no scrapping.

My take on Daybreak took off slowly. I kept thinking 'baby' for these colors. LOL
I was stuck. I started with a few papers and stalled on the elements.
I had to bring in the boys to get input. And it worked to some degree. I was now short on time...LOL...so a few of their ideas didn't make it this time round.

I hope you enjoy our take on Daybreak.

Tried to download this kit and it told me the link was not valid....

Ladies please remember to put your designer name in the name of the zip file
all files should have designername_kitname then the element, paper number

It makes it easier for us and scrappers to see who's kit it is and it will be more likely that you will get credited when scrappers post layouts with your kits too.

Hi, I named my zip file mollyscraps-ThunderstormAtDawn but my elements and papers are named ms-TaD-element/paper. Do I need to change that or is that okay for this round?

hun that's fine as long as there is designer name or initials on the zip and files. so you are good to go

Submitted mine, I was doing alright until I realised today was the fifth, but it's in and this is good experience. Bit of a rush job as family visiting.

I'm running out of time - ACK!

How can we make sure we are "human verified" in order to upload to the gallery? I think this is only my 2nd or 3rd post here.

I'm praying I can finish up before the deadline. Been too crazy busy this weekend.

Oh! Question real fast - I can't believe I didn't ask this on Sunday when I decided to try and enter... Would chipboard elements that have some of the original brown chipboard on them be considered out of the color palette? I have time (just barely) to tweak, but I wanted to check with you ladies...

I don't think that would disqualify, some natural texture like chipboard should be okay, but Toiny did want the metals to match the palette, so if you have the time, it may be safer to tint the chipboard with one of colors in the palette... it may even make that element stand out more

Yeah, I thought about that. Thanks for answering. All my chipboard pieces are tinted, but I'm working in a 'shabby' style, so bits of the original brown are showing around the edges.

if it's just small worn bits & pieces, instead of the entire edge, then that should be fine!
