Someone may have asked and i missed it, i checked the FAQ's if a paper is gradient with a solid border around it is it still a solid paper?

Gradient papers = solid papers.

If 90% of the paper is solid, NO pattern or very subtle almost invisible pattern, then it is considered a solid - a border around the edges does not constitute pattern, HTH

Solids can be multi-colored - they can even have flourishes in corners/edges and still be considered solids, as long as the majority of the paper is patternless, I would still consider it solid -

I see, very clearly, the first 3 papers are patterned, last two are solids... maybe I'll go gather up some examples to show you all what we mean, I know with all the questions arising it's probably getting confusing, so images may work better than words here! Was it decided that a solid with embossing (even an embossed pattern) is considered a solid? Just making sure as I have one and dont want it to count as a pattern? Thanks

I'm pretty sure it was decided that it would still be considered a solid - embossing is right on that grey line, most embossed papers are subtle enough to be used as a solid... In the example that was given earlier in this thread, even though the pattern is clearly visible, I would still consider that to be solid and would most likely use the paper as a solid... sorry I can't give you a definitive answer, but I'm positive this topic will be considered when it comes time for us to vote

Thanks to Kakleidesigns, I found a little mistake in my kit, which I have fixed. Eeek! I hate when that happens, like right after you send an email, you notice a spelling error or something. In this case, I saved the wrong version of 3 of my elements, so I've added a link to download those elements only, if anyone is interested. Sorry about that!

Sorry for jumping in on this but I think the confusion here is because you said something about recoloring not counting. tailz has three patterned papers with the same pattern. I believe she thought you meant that was not okay.
