Oh my gosh, I'm almost shedding a tear here myself. I went through the very same thing when I took my daughter to University. It was on Vancouver Island, near us, a beautiful ferry ride - only about 2 hrs away, but I was like you. So happy and yet so sad. It kind of reminded me of her first day of school period. You've created a beautiful memory page here! Eight years of school, she must be reaching for the stars! Congrats.
