Quilts and quilting and both a craft and an art. I was inspired by the artistry of the quilt. I've pieced quilts and am familiar with quilt patterns. Some of the papers are adapted from quilt patterns. I was also inspired by the motifs and designs used in the inspiration quilt. The quilter had incorporated butterflies, a dragonfly, flowers, and a paisley motif. There were various kinds of fabrics and fabric designs. I especially noticed striped fabrics. Several of my papers incorporated these various designs.
