This is my mother in 1945, shortly after the end of WWll. She has always loved wearing winter clothing, probably since most of her life was spent in Texas where winter is almost non-existent in most years -at least until the last few years thanks to global warming :-)
I have used a beautiful kit called Red Shoes from Julie C, with a little adjustment of the red hues. I love the really wide range of elements she has put into this kit, making it useful for so many different types of layouts. And it is one of those newspaper kits - black and white and re(a)d all over. Sorry Julie, I could not resist. You can find this kit in the studio here: http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio...a_filter_id=82
The font I used is Vivaldi.
