That which we call “soda” by any other name, like “pop,” would still taste as sweet, right?

The books I’m making for my nieces when they turn 18 are photos and stories from their growing up years. Some of them are somber pages, like the one after they lost their Mom, some are sappy, like the ones with personal messages from me , but most are cute and funny, like this one from 1999.
Journaling:
You were 5 when we went to the Renaissance Festival in Holly, Michigan this time. The first time we all went with Papa and Grams, you and Tori were sampling everyone’s drinks that we got before we left. You got a taste of Grams’ cola and asked what I was drinking. I had Sprite and told you, “soda.” You tasted it and ran to tell Tori to taste my drink. You told her, “It’s soda. It’s good!” It must have been better than Grams’ “pop!”
This time we went with Rich, Jackie and Heather. I loved the fact that you enjoyed doing things with my friends! I got you hats and you both HAD to get your faces painted! The artist did a great job! After a full day at the festival, you both got your own drinks before we went home. As I recall, you both got “pop.” I got the pop-flavored soda!
