This is a note to my great-grandchildren, although it could really be for anyone.


Journaling reads: This is a picture of my immediate family on Easter 2008. The one thing I notice about this photo is that no matter how hard I tried to "pose" our family for this picture, it isn't the "perfect" family photo. And that's really okay. This photo gives everyone a real glance at our family and who we are today. And that is why we created this album for our family. You can tell from each page I created that our family is far from perfect and we don't claim to be. Perfection isn't the goal - leaving a legacy of love and forgiveness is. And I want you to see how happy our family is, regardless of our flaws. In the book, of James, you will find, "Every good and perfect gift comes from above." (1:17) That's what my family is to me - a precious gift from the Lord above. This album is my gift to my entire family, for generations to come. This is my legacy, and I am blessed by what I am leaving behind. - Rose
