My dd *loved* "My Little Pony," so dh bought her a stuffed one. We didn't realize at first that, because the tail and mane were some weird nylon, it was NOT washable. After she spit up, spilled food and messed her pants on it, it STUNK so bad we couldn't stand to be around it, but she was not about to give it up. No matter what we did, she found and "rescued" it....man, were we glad when she finally got tired of that thing!
