Santa's sleigh

There have been so many Santa's sleighs around on blogs and as giveaways, I determined to have a go at making one myself. I found a free template on the internet, and used the Reindeer Games mega kit which I am gradually finding out (thanks to Min and her progressive scrap ) has some really lovely elements. You can find the kit here:

Further details on the template can be found on my blog, but basically, all I did was clip papers to the template, and add some elements to decorate it. Once I had printed and cut out the sleigh, I added my ever faithful glitter glue (I would be lost without my glitter glue and distress inks ). I also added a gold "Merry Christmas" embellishment to the back of the sleigh.

I then used a small bag of Cadbury's chocolate coins which I tied with ribbon as Santa's sack. I have to admit that the sack of coins may not actually have been full as I had been sneaking the odd one here and there......
