My husband's grandfather was Irvin T. Nelson, landscape architect for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He designed the gardens for the church's properties and temples all over the world. And everywhere he went, he took pictures. At his death, the family found thousands of slides of his gardens and scenery. This one photo of the Salt Lake City Tabernacle in the snow was taken in 1955. He had an eye for gardening AND for photography.
