This is number one...a gorgeous layout Jan. It's like you "split" the page somehow, and has the appearance of almost a brag book page. Really neat

Your ds on the pics are definately too heavy, but not too big. If they were lighten up some it would truly look like the thick frame was casting a shadow on the page. Same with your note, which should actually have a thicker but lighter shadow to give the appearance it's been dropped there.

But like I said, it's gorgeous design!!!

I just can't get over the wonderful papers and elements included within this kit. Yeah, for the rectangular page scrap. Love your scrap placement along with the use of more than one photo. The addition of Bannerwoman's cardboard element as the top right corner element lends strength and depth to that corner. I adore that font. I will have to find it because it makes your journaling quote so visually elegant and important. Wonderful layout to share.
