This week we had a special treat - using this beautiful kit from Designs by Moo called In the Between which is available in the Studio here:

It is a wonderful kit to use for the kids and grand-kids and even great-grand-kids. These are my two (so far) great-grandchildren, brother and sister Caleb (6) and Kelsey (4). They live in Texas and I live in Holland so I don't get to see them as much as I would like and they are growing up so darned fast! Seems like only a month ago that they were just babies.

I chose Paper 6 for my background, duplicated it for an overlay, flipped the overlay 180 degrees and blended using Soft Light. I embossed the texture on the background and blended the tree and the swing into the resulting background using luminosity and then adjusting the opacity.

I duplicated the doodle frame and blended using multiply, then applied a stroke with a slightly lighter shade of blue to make the frame more visible in a busy
background. All other changes involved resizing and applying shadows. The font used is Centime.
