My partner Steve took this photo off me with his phone last year. I've used this photo in B & W before but never tried the Brighten & Pop technique until now. I wanted to have that dreamy look as that so works with this photo.
I used the Early Morning Light freebie quickpage which I moved around so my photo would fit portrait way and added a shadow by Piggy Scraps Designs plus the bonus element (heart) that came with the QP which I made to look like glass with a filter effect.
I used the Brighten & Pop and the Beyond Black & White tutorials then on the black and white photo I used a filter to make it into a pencil drawing which I then blended into the background.
As I use Craft Artist 2 as my scrapbooking software I had to play around with the settings a little as some are under different things but I managed okay and I am so happy with the end result. I also flipped the photo the other way as that worked better on this layout.
