Barbwire theStudio QC CT Registered: July 2007 Posts: 937	I used the Sept 2010 Mega kit Old School which can be found here http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio...oducts_id=5559 There was so much to choose from in this kit, but I tried to stay with the more heritage type items since this is a photo of me ready to leave on the bus for my first day of school. LOL I recolored the red crayon so it would complement my layout, cut some papers, resized, rotated, flipped, and shadowed other elements. I added a closeup of the photo to the front of the old book 'Little Women'. I used the font Pea Carolyn for my journaling and Wild Ride for the title. Thanks for letting me play along with the contestants.

The journaling says:
Here I am all dressed up ready for my first day at school. Mom has my hair in pigtails with pink bows and I have on a pink checkered dress. I hated wearing a dress. And shiny black shoes that pinched my toes. But I was happy anyway. I was finally going to get on the bus and go to school with my brother. I was six years old and starting first grade.
