When I was young I loved
to weed. When we lived with
my Grandma she had roses,
cannas, ginger and bearded irises. All except the irises were outside the fenced backyard and I wasn't allowed out there. But Grandma did let me weed in her iris bed. Oh what joy. I can't say that irises were my favorite flower when I was little, but the plants certainly were my favorite. I could weed to my hears content and never hurt a thing! I guess that liking the plant turned into liking the flowers because I have a yard full of them. All kinds of them. Bearded, Japanese, dwarf,
species, Siberian. and
Louisiana. So I guess
I can consider them a
favorite, now anyway.
