Athabascar Glacier
Text:
The Athabascar Glacier is one of six principal glaciers of the Columbia Ice Field
in the Canadian Rockies. It is the largest icefield south of Alaska shimmering with
glacial ice and snow covering 233 sq miles, with awe-inspiring icy crevasses and
ice-fed streamlets.

Yes Mitsybelle, I have been there, I took this picture! I was walking on the glacier when I did, isn't it spectacular? I yearn to return! :-) Thank you for the positive feedback!
