Here's my layout for this challenge. Andrew Stibrik was my husband's great-grandfather. He came to the US in 1912. The journaling is as follows:
On July 17, 1912, Andrew Stibrik arrived at Ellis Island. The 31 year-old native of Labanski, Hungary had departed nine days earlier from Hamburg, Germany on the ship the Cleveland. He was an ethnic Slovak. He left behind a wife and two children with a third on the way. His destination was Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he was meeting up with some of his in-laws. He was hoping to make a living in the steel mills. Ultimately he secured a job with J&L Steel Comapany. His wife and children joined him in Pittsburgh in 1914.
Used my own scrapkit for this.
