Spanning the Charles

Spanning the Charles

The Moody Street Bridge in Waltham, Massachusetts, spanning the Charles River which flows to and empties into Boston Harbor, was constructed in 1946 to provide access to a busy downtown filled with shops and restaurants. It had several makeovers and today it is reminiscent of those earlier times and continues to provide that access.
