Journaling reads: Ruth was the daughter of a
seamstress and the wife of a
farmer. She was also my
grandmother. She passed
away just after my graduation,
thus she never got to see
her great grandchildren. In
the years that I knew her, I
learned many things. Among
those were unconditional love
and the importance of traditions
and family gatherings. These
things have been passed to
my children and now my
grandchildren. I'm so very
thankful to have had her in
my life.
