The Sept 08 heritage challenge is on celebrations. This is not the first thing that comes to mind but it was certainly a time of celebration for the church. This photo, taken in 1920 according to the back of it, is of my great Uncle Ofa Bennett, a Baptist minister. You can see him laying the person down in the water. I love how everyone in the congregation is wearing a hat!
