I am more used to making gift bags, boxes, cards and calendars rather than home decor items so I really had to rack my brains to come up with an idea for this challenge. Since Christmas is coming up soon (where does the time go? It seems like only yesterday it was last Christmas !).
Anyhow, I made this Christmas wreath using an empty cereal box cut into two circles. These were stuck together and covered with paper printed from the kit. I then punched leaves using Woodware leaf punches from the green papers in the kit, and made flowers (using my favourite Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die, yet again!). I added wire ribbon, lace, brads and organza ribbon from my stash plus plenty of glitter glue. I'm afraid I can't remember where I got the brads from and the ribbon, lace and glitter glue are basic supplies you can get from most haberdashers/craft shops. the ribbon wire is by Winterworks
