Journaling reads....

It was a pleasant September afternoon when I received a phone call from my neighbor, Carole. “Come out back and look down toward my house,” she said. I wandered out onto the patio in my bare feet, looked, and then shouted, “What am I looking for?” “The alligator,” she said. I didn’t see anything so took several steps toward her house - and there, right on our lawn and just a few feet away, was Ali. He was just passing through, but aroused quite a bit of interest from the neighbors.
