The photo was taken by my first husband in the winter of 1975, but the roll of film wasn't developed until 20 years later since it was more or less lost during the shuffle of our divorce.
For the layout, I blended two papers, used another paper as a mask for the large photo, erased a lot around both photos, reduced the opacity of the large photo to pick up more detail from the underlying mask, and resized and rotated various elements. I chose not to recolor anything because I wanted the yellow cast of the originals to contrast with the blues of the photos.
