Journalling reads: For various reasons I don’t have very many photos of you when you were little. But I think of the few that I do have these ones are easily my favourite. I had bought you this little push along car and we were trying it out for the first time. Being as small as you were, the seat was a bit too big for you. So I decided to use a little bit of mummy innovation and borrowed the padded seat from your highchair. You had a lovely time sitting in it while I pushed you around the house. Spinning the steering wheel and beeping the horn. I remember turning around to do something, only to find when I looked back that you had fallen fast asleep. You looked so cute and peaceful, I didn’t have the heart to move you and risk waking you up. So I sat on the floor next to you to make sure that you didn’t choke or fall out. It may look like a strange place for a baby to sleep, but considering some of the other places you have slept in this seems normal. 2003.
