In 2002, I was able to take a trip to see my friends in Langtree, North Devon, England, where this photo was taken. Jean was fighting cancer at the time, and I was there to cheer her up. journaling:
The Red Checkered Tablecloth was set for breakfast for the three of us. Glasses of orange juice, thick slices of wheat bread that Bob and I had picked up at the bakery in Torrington the day before, along with other items that were on Jean's list for us to purchase. We had stopped at several little delightful shops on the Square. We also had boiled eggs and hot coffee that lovely morning in May at Jean and Bob's hone at West Frost Cottage in Langtree, North Devon. A dream that came true for me.
