They said my youngest would never graduate. Not only DID he...but he graduated with honors. AND is in his Senior year of college, a Volunteer Firefighter, a Survivalist and works in the Campus Ministries.
Learning Disabilities do NOT mean that one is less intelligent than others. It does however, mean that one must work much harder to succeed in life. But hard work alone is not enough. Even with a strong support of family, a child needs educators whose goal in life is to work with these kids. They must be loving, patient, firm, compassionate and have the willingness and desire to help mold a childs life. For when they do they help create strong, self assured, driven children who have plans, goals and dreams. They help to create adults who do not fear the world but embrace it. This is dedicated to all the people who believed in Korey when he couldn’t believe in himself and helped
him to become the strong man and individual he is today. God has a special place in Heaven for you!
