New Years Eve has been fun for our group of 16 for several years now. The first years we just went to a restaurant with our group, but that did not happen last year as the restaurants in town were not doing New Years any more. So one couple said they wanted at their home last year.
This year we volunteered our home for the New Years Eve Party. We just turned our old garage into a large room adding a fireplace and just put down the glue down carpet to cover the cement and painted the walls and I made some curtains to keep the heat in. The cabinets were refinished and some shelves were added. So we will set up some tables and chairs which we already had from our catering my husband used to do. We will cook a huge prime rib and the other couples will bring dishes to add to it all. We are looking forward to this years New Years Eve.
