One of our annual traditions is a tour of the houses decorated for the Christmas holiday. This year we had a really nice time despite the fact that I am suffering with a terrible cold. The weather was not too cold, but not warm either. Mickey and Katherine made “puppy chow” for the trip. The house off of Springfield Road didn’t have quite as many lights as previous years, but it was still very pretty. They conveniently had a mistletoe stand, and Mick and Katherine took advantage. My favorite was the house on Maybeury that sits on the water. The reflection of lights on the water was gorgeous. We had dinner at MeKong,and then hit the Krispy Kreme for some warm donuts. It was a wonderful night! Oh! Once we got home and enjoyed one of the warm donuts .... Mick started showing off about being able to eat a whole donut in one bite. I call that “pudge-ing” He got on a roll and made himself sick by pudge-ing two donuts at one time. It was a HOOT!
