My brother who lives in another province (in the northern part where it's really cold) started sending me these odd photos a few weeks before Christmas. There were of a couple of stuffed animals and there was a little story with each one. At first I kind of ignored them, and then I realized he was doing this on purpose and there was a story behind it! Each day he would pose them - like the "travelocity" gnome - snap a shot, write a story and email it to everyone. By about day 4, I finally figured out what he was doing. One of them was a picture of "Obie & Hitch" - his two characters, and they were head-first in the snow. There were tracks down the roof of their shed, so it looked like they skied off the roof like a ski jump. Well that triggered something with me - that's what we used to do off our garage if we had a lot of snow in the winter! I emailed him and he said I was the first one to figure it out. It was him and my older brother when they were kids - that's who "Obie & Hitch" were. They were always so competitive with each other! And to this day too even though they won't admit it and they're in their sixties! LOL!
Then I started looking forward to the photo each day - I even got the guys at work looking at them. So for his birthday coming in February, I'm going to do him a little book of his pictures and send it to him. This is the first one.
