This is my little girl Fredericka, we adopted her too, she came from El Backayardo, only kidding, really. Anyway we have been having problems with these turtles coming out of the pond and laying eggs in my veggie garden, now though they are coming all the way up to the house and digging holes in the yard to bury eggs. Frederika got a ride in Sid's truck and was placed happily into a pond about 8 miles from here. If it's true that turtles are slow moving it should take her at least until the end of the summer to come back home, hopefully she likes where she is now. Oh and we did catch her before she buried her eggs.
