Years ago, the Burma Shave shaving cream company put up road signs along the roads throughout the country. The signs were spaced a few hundred yards apart and were designed to be read one line after the other as you traveled
down the highway. My brother and I always tried to be the first to see them. Does anyone else remember these?

When my DH lets his whiskers go too long, I like to recite this one: "Hey there big boy, to go through life, how'd you like, a whiskered wife!"

Background, ribbon and flowers (recolored) from JenLin's Forget Me Not kit.

Oh my goodness.. I love this! I remember my parents talking about these signs. I grew up in Oregon and there wasn't any.
Great Card.

OMG, that brings back memories of riding down the road when I was young. Yes, I remember the Burma-Shave signs! That was long before super-highways took the fun out of travel.

I'm a little young for Burma Shave signs... but my parents told me all about them.
