I started out making this lo for the word art challenge but soon realised it fitted the hero catagory too. This is my son Mikey during his Charity race around all of the football stadiums in the UK to raise money for War Child. He's my Hero (as is my older son Danny, but I can't find any good pics of him)
I used JulieO's feeling Wonderful kit for this. I've done so many lo's using this kit and still not used it all. What a great kit.

What a touching layout. You really share a piece of yourself with your journalling, and I appreciate your openness. Your son must really make you one heckuva proud mama. I imagine going to war anywhere can really change a person, it is good that he has found a way to give back and to find peace within.

Very touching. Terrible that such young boys are exposed to such horrific experiences. Fantastic that he healed himself by commiting to warchild, it is a wonderful organization.
