Evalyn Knapp (1908-1981):She started acting in silent films, her first role being in the 1929. That year saw her in ten other comedy shorts. In 1932, Knapp was one of the girls selected as "WAMPAS Baby Stars". In the 1930s she was a leading B-movie serial actress and played in westerns. Her career remained solid through 1941, but slowed afterward. In 1943 she played her last role. Evalyn had made 62 film appearances. She married a physician in 1934. Following her retirement, she concentrated on her family. She and her husband were married until his death in 1977. She was the younger sister of well-known orchestra leader Orville Knapp (1904-1936)
