Grandma always hosted Thanksgiving Dinner. I’m so glad we did this last year. It ended up being the last Thanksgiving we had with her.

With Grandma’s current condition and the November chill outside, we really didn’t want to check Grandma out of Cartel for Thanksgiving, the Holiday she always hosted and she and I cooked. So, for this year, we reserved the family dining area at Caretel and brought it to her!

We did the prep at Pop and Aunt Judy’s the day before, doing the turkey on thanksgiving Day. We brought the whole feast in covered serving dishes for the big meal, including wine glasses, flavored coffee creamers and the centerpiece Aunt Judy picked out. Grandma loved it!
