My Hero

My Hero

My hero is my son, Nicholas! I am so very proud of him! He joined the Navy before high school graduation and has worked very hard at his goals. He is a Computer Technician and is stationed on a Destroyer. He married his high school sweetheart, Kelsey in July 2010 and is going to college thru the Navy. He is very smart, very kind and loves his family. He gets leave in a few weeks and then will be Deployed for a year! I will miss him! God Bless him and all our young troops serving the USA!

I used my Strawberry Fields Forever kit for this LO. I recolored some of the elements.I also used a few things from my American Girl kit. The font is House sitter's club.

Please thank your son and your family for his service to our country. Your layout is a wonderful tribute to him and his character! I love the clustering of flowers around his photo, and the string of stars is just the right touch. So patriotic! Great job!
