The journaling reads:

As I dislike cold weather, I anticipate the warmer days and sunshine that comes with spring. The month of March means spring is just days away. As the end of March approaches, I begin looking for the sign that tells me spring has arrived—the blooming of the dogwood trees. I watch intently to see when the first blossoms have opened as I drive down the highway or walk up the street. They are the first color to appear in the leafless sea of brown tree trunks and bushes. Their white and pink blossoms brighten the scenery until the first leaves begin to appear. Those opening blossoms are the sure sign the winter has ended and warm days are here. I will soon be able to discard winter gear and be warm for a few months. For me, it's not officially spring until the dogwoods bloom.

Stunning layout, I just love the softness of the colors and how you only used the greens/blues.

This is lovely! I love how the flowers in the photo match those in the kit elements and I really like how you've connected the photos with the spray of sparkles and flowers. Good Luck!

Beautiful layouts. I love the flowering trees so much, too--the dogwoods, the magnolias, the tulip trees, the red bud trees. Your layout is lovely. Like the way the dogwood have a bluish shadow on them to match the other elements. Nice work!

Lovely page. I like how the falling leaves on the paper are echoed with your glitter and flower scatter.

I love dogwoods. Have them on our property. They just scream spring.

I love your take on the "First Look." I really enjoy the bloom of the Dogwood as well. I really like the color scheme and clustering which looks as delicate as the beautiful Dogwood. Lovely layout!

Absolutely a gorgeous LO! The soft blue-green goes so well with your photos! I like how you sprinkled the glitter and flowers across the page.
