Another page for my nieces’ books. This niece, the one in pink, at a week away from 17 is still a happy tomboy who doesn’t do makeup, dresses or anything I the way of jewelry. She and her sister both loved my jewelry in the mid 90s, but she was more into my accessories than her sister was at that time. Things change, huh?

Grams and Papa volunteered to babysit often and that usually meant I’d see you when I got home from work. My ritual when I came home was to get on the floor and spend a little time with my favorite nieces before bed time. Your ritual when I did that was to give hugs and kisses and in then start taking my jewelry off me! The fashion at the time was big beads and clunky bracelets, way too tempting when you were just over a year old!
