Letters From Home By SnickerdoodleDesigns
My great-great-great grandfather, Charles Goodenough, was in California for the Gold Rush in the 1850's. When he realized he was not going to secure his fortune there, he moved to Texas to claim land by homesteading. During his travels, he consistently wrote and received letters from his family and friends. These letters, dated as early as 1847, were passed down in my family from generation to generation and are now in my possession. My kit "Letters From Home" is inspired by Charles' correspondence to his loved ones. After reading the letters, I can just imagine him sitting by a fire in the evening, reading these letters over and over again, because he missed his family so much.
Letters From Home consists of 4 unique papers and 10 unique elements.
Papers are in jpg format and elements are png format. Kit contents were designed at 300 dpi for excellent print quality. As per competition guidelines, all items were either hand-crafted, photographed, scanned, and/or digitally created by me, using only the tools which were included with my software (CS5 Extended).
