Here's my Scrapping Survivor page for week 2! We had to make a page of our favorite recipe and include our own pictures of the finished product. These are the chewiest, gooiest, melt-in-your mouth chocolate chip cookies EVER! My family loves them and they usually only last about 10 minutes before they're gone! lol
Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 lb (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cut brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups (9oz) flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375F. Use an electric mixer to cream together the butter and sugars; add the eggs one at a time and beat until well blended. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and add them to the batter by hand, stirring to blend. Stir in vanilla then chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned, about 10 min. Cool for 2 min on sheets before removing to cooling racks. Store in covered container at room temperature for no more than a day or two. Makes 3-4 dozen.
