A display of WW II planes came to Fernandino Beach Airport in Fl.in honor of Veteran’s Day. Linda discovered this in the newspaper
She surprised Dad and took him for a ride. Dad flew in the B-24 during WWII. What a thrill to get to see these planes again.
These were in flying conditions, and Dad was almost able to take a flight. but not enough people to go. There were insignias on
the side of the plane to represent the number of missions flown. He operated 2 - 50 caliber machine guns in the ball turret
[silver photo]. Also shown are the B-17 and P-51 planes. This brought back many memories. Nov. 2011

I absolutely love this! Using the folded overlays here was brilliant! I love how you made the BG paper look like chiffon folds - and we can underneath to the antique clock. The little airplanes and their trails are just perfect too!
