When I invite my real family to our Christmas party, I always say it and I really mean it, that the evening is my gift and them making it out is their gift to me. Maybe it’s something Noni nurtured in me by example and time together in her kitchen, but the best gift every year is the people I love letting me spoil them with good food and great company.
