Every year, I go to the U.S. National Figure Skating Championships. I just returned from the 2012 edition, held in San Jose CA. Each year, I do a couple of layouts like this to highlight some of the 10 days. This one shows sights in the city, including the new city hall building; the fabulous bakery that was attached to our hotel, the Fairmont; one of a series of art pieces near the city hall building; and the home where my sister and her husband used to live in San Jose (they've lived in Florida for 10 years and this trip was also sort of a "homecoming" for them.)

Oh my goodness, I had to check this out when I saw the title! I spent most of my adult life in San Jose (I'm a SF Bay Area gal) until I moved to Sacramento 11 years ago. I love this font, how fun! And the bulletin board style page is so cute.

You caught my eye with the Cork Board and the push pins.
Thanks for sharing the story behind the memory page.
Love the note effect.
Always wanted to do a memory page with one.
