Journaling: The Gamelin twins, Danielle and Alexander, represented the Skating Club of New York at the 2012 U.S. National Figure Skating Championships in the Junior Dance Division. We met their parents the day before the twins skated their short program to “Corazon Espinado” and “La Vida es Un Carnaval.” Unfortunately, they had a very bad, disruptive fall, finishing 12th. They could not recover during their long dance to ”Csardas” and supported the rest of the junior dancers.
