Summer Afternoon - ADB Designs

ADBDesign {anita_d} theStudio Designer Registered: August 2009 Location: Blair, Nebraska, USA Posts: 2,875	I remember our summers in Cheyenne, Wyoming as a magical time. My color swatch really put me in touch with those memories. The afternoons are warm and breezy and cowboys still walk the streets. Wyoming is high country with lots of prairie grasses and more cattle than people. This kit is designed with those lazy afternoons in mind; the tempo of life is still a bit slower and time hasn't changed that much in the last 100 years. Thank you to everyone for their support during this contest. Though I did not win the contest, I certainly gained a lot of knowledge and had great fun. I will continue to work on my designing techniques and you should see more of my work soon. I plan to enlarge this kit and add additional pieces. I will look for a designing home and hopefully find one soon.

This is awesome. Love your explanation about your motivation behind your kit. This is so in character with your theme. I am from Montana and can so relate. Love it. Good luck in the future.

I love that you explained what this kit means to you. That makes it so much more meaningful to us as well. This is a gorgeous kit. Love your patterns papers and texture, and the elements are all lovely. I especially like the octogonal piece... that is just beautiful!

Love the explanation too! It really changes how you view the kit (I thought it was lovely to begin with, but with the cowboy eye in mind, I see it in a whole new way). Great job. The papers are wonderful. I would totally use this kit. In fact, I think I'll download it now, lol
