My kit represents the times before we had television to find out about the news. Families would sit around the radio to listen to the daily happenings or read the local newspapers. Reporters didn't have voice recorders, so they wrote everything down in a notebook. I hope you enjoy my depiction of the evening news..

The Hat, the newspapers and the notebooks were photographed and extracted by me. I hand drew the necktie, radio, camera, pencil and press pass and used the default photoshop patterns that came with my program to stylize and enhance them. I used the default shapes to make the flower to make the scatter and to make the frame. The papers were made by overlays that I made by scanning and using the default patterns.
