I really enjoyed this challenge... in thinking about the theme of 'Evening News' as well as incorporating a vintage style, I tried (and hope I succeeded) to also remember the primary reason for this design contest, that of creating something of which can be used to scrapbook.

This kit is beautiful. My Mother use to sit and write her poetry and seeing this kit reminded me of her. She also had one of those old portable typewriters.
