Mom worked for a photographer
from the mid 1940’s to the mid 1950’s. She took
some of the photos, processed the film and then
hand colored the photos into portraits, many
of which I still have today. It is amazing how
the hand coloring has held up. I guess her
interest in photography left its mark on me
She is holding the film that comes out of the
front of the camera.

The writing on the tag of 'Alice 1946' is my Mama's handwriting from a different photo, that I extracted. I used the quote included with the designers write up of the kit, as it was perfect. My Mama, must have inspired me to get into photography too.
